The Queen’s New Guard is a dramatic feature documentary about the world's oldest police pipe band, The Vancouver Police. The documentary will follow the band’s journey as they attempt to make history on their 100th Anniversary by becoming the first non-military pipe band in history to perform the Changing of the Queen’s Guard Ceremony in London.

This performance is going to be historic because no outsider has ever performed this ceremony and the permission to do that directly comes from Her Majesty, the Queen. According to the creators, this film will contribute mainly to highlight the glorious history of the Vancouver  Police [VPD] and will inspire the younger generation to join the department and the pipe band. Moreover, the film will also feature appearances by Sarah McLachlan, Gordon Campbell, and certain members of the Royal Family.

In order to make this dream project a reality, the creators are seeking public support on Kickstarter. Members of The Vancouver Police and other officials of VPD have also made an appeal to the community for the backing of this great project.

The Kickstarter Campaign is located on the web at: and it offers several pledges with rewards. Backers can contribute from CA $1 to CA $ 13,000 with the latter one getting entitled as the ‘Executive Producer’ of the documentary and also getting the honour of having the Vancouver Police band perform at their next function.
